“Passionate about 100% natural and botanical essences, my story is intimately linked to the island of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. I grew up there in a lush environment, surrounded by flowers, plants and captivating scents.
As a child, I would pick flowers with my sister to adorn and perfume the hair of the women in my household. Without realizing it, I was already developing a very refined sense of smell. I would mix the petals, experiment, and experience the scents… Long before I learned about perfumery, nature was already my school.
In 1980, the civil war turned my life upside down and forced my family to leave our island and seek refuge in France. It was in Paris that I discovered a completely different world: that of fashion, luxury, and renowned perfumers. I was fascinated by these creations, but deep down, I retained the pure and vivid memory of the natural scents of my childhood.
A turning point came with the birth of my first child, who has Asperger's syndrome and is allergic to synthetic fragrances. Faced with this reality, I searched for healthy alternatives… in vain. No perfume met my requirements: natural, kind to the body, and meaningful.
That's when I decided to create my own path.
I trained in therapeutic and cosmetic aromatherapy, and I started composing perfumes from 100% botanical essences. But as my creations progressed, one thing became clear to me: scents do more than just perfume… they have a profound effect on our emotions, our energy, and our inner balance.
